Carol Service

The usual Mothers' Union combined Carol Service with St Wilfrid's Ladies will be held in church at 7.30pm on Thursday 11th December. followed by a bring and share supper in the Parish Hall.

Looking to the Future

Do you ever wonder..... what does the future hold for our church community here?.. and how can I help shape a future for it beyond my own lifetime?

If you are serious about a future for our Christian community in this parish, this day will give you an opportunity to begin exploring how that can be achieved, even if it means taking us beyond our comfort zones.

The parish, like every other parish in the country, is facing unprecedented challenges, not at least, a society which disregards religious faith and commitment as irrelevant.  But with great challenge comes great opportunity! Saturday 22nd November, 10.00am - 4.00pm, St Wilfrid's Parish Hall.  Please bring your own lunch. Tea/coffee provided.

As part of our Harvest Celebrations there will be a Choral Evensong Service in the church on Sunday 12 October at 6.00pm

Coffeemates St Wilfrid's Parish Hall

Coffeemates will be open on Wednesday 27 August  from 10.00am - 12 noon.  Come along and join us for coffee, cake and chat a warm welcome awaits you.

St Wilfrid's Summer Fair Saturday 7 June Brayton Village Green

Just a reminder that the Summer Fair will take place on Brayton Village Green from 2pm - 4pm
Come along and bring your family and friends for a very enjoyable afternoon.  Visit the stalls, and listen to the Brayton Primary School Choir, join in with the Samba Band Workshop, then drop into the cafe for tea and cakes.  For the children there will be Face Painting, Bouncy Castle and the Miniature Train.

Community Lunch St Wilfrid's Parish Hall

The next Community Lunch will be on Wednesday 3 September from 12 noon - 1.30pm. homemade soup, bread and a dessert £4.  Looking forward to seeing everyone thereafter the summer break.

Coffee Morning & Spring Fair St Francis Shared Church Thorpe Willoughby

Coffee morning and Spring Fair Saturday 5 April 10.00am - 2.00pm the usual bacon buttes, toasted teacakes will be served, as well as soup and sandwiches served from 12 noon.  Stalls include cakes, books, tombola, raffle and crafts.

This month's open church coffee morning will be the craft group Easter Fayre.  There will be homemade crafts for sale. Come along and enjoy a coffee with old and new friends.

Mothers' Union Thursday 6 March 7.30pm Parish Hall

The speaker at this months meeting will be Margaret Barr.  Also we welcome Hilary Castle to the meeting with the new catalogue and Easter cards.
As always we welcome non- members who will be made most welcome.

Do come and support the work of the Craft Group at their coffee morning.  Tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits raffle and cake stall.

After having a break, we hope to resume gardening weather permitting.  We welcome anyone who has not been before, please bring your own gardening tools.  Coffee and biscuits will be provided.
