September Connected is ready for download!

In Connected this month Revd. Philip MacDonald is clear about the endings and beginnings in domestic and spiritual life, whilst Tony Service welcomes the Methodist New Year.

Sadly it is also a month a say goodbye to Vera Jackson. A stalwart of the St Wilfrid’s community for many years, Vera sadly passed away recently.

Barbara Richardson looks back at a successful period of fund raising for the MU, and in so doing provided me with an opportunity to include a photograph of a dog and a pork pie created in Photoshop. Happy days!

St Wilfrid’s looks forward to its Flower Festival which will include a Saturday Evening Prom Concert, which neatly allowed me to include a piece on Churchyard Tidying. And finally I report on the St Francis’ Strawberry Brunch and St Wilfrid’s Garden Party, both of which involved me eating too much...
