St Wilfrid’s is holding a Flower Festival in Church over this coming weekend 27th to 29th September. Organised chiefly by Sue Beevers and Claire Nutt, a series of events is planned including a Wine & Cheese Preview on the evening of Friday 27th, and a Promenade Concert at 7pm on Saturday 28th September. The Promenade Concert includes solo and ensemble pieces, as well as the traditional sing-along of Jerusalem and Rule Britannia! Tickets are available now priced at £5 and only £2 for children.
St Wilfrid's will be open during the weekend for viewing the displays. On Saturday the Parish Hall will be open for refreshments until 4pm.
