The April Connected is available to download!

This month Revd. Christine Gillespie writes the Dear Friends piece on the subject of hope. The Mothers Union looks forward to the Lady Day service in York Minster (26th March) and the Deanery Services in St Wilfrid’s (25th April).

Jean Goodenough reports on a recent Brayton WI meeting that included a demonstration of flower arrangements by Barbara McGlone, whilst, in a similar vein, Shirley Croft kindly supplied photographs of the St Francis flower festival from 2016 for the When We Were Very Young piece.

There is also report on a drama workshop run by Martin Millward - “Project!” - whereas Pat Jarvis writes about the Parish Hall and the search for a new treasurer at St Wilfrid’s.

Selby Hands of Hope - Ukrainian Crisis

Hello all

I’ve just heard that there is a lorry going from
Selby Hands of Hope to Poland this Wednesday
9th March for Ukrainian refugees.

I think they’re looking especially for blankets,
duvets, sleeping bags (used but in reasonable
condition fine).

Please contact Selby Hands of Hope - they are located
next to WH Smiths in Selby - for more information
as this is all I have!

Thanks a lot

Pete
