Open Church & Coffee Morning St Wilfrid's Parish Hall 10.00am

Our first Coffee Morning of 2013 will be held on Saturday 12th January in the Parish Hall.  Do come along and enjoy a cuppa and chat

Community Lunch 5th December St Wilfrid's Parish Hall 12 noon

This is a lunch of homemade soup and breadroll, a simple dessert tea and coffee £4.00.  If anyone requires transport please contact Pat Griffiths and transport will be arranged. Come and enjoy an hour of good food and company with friends and neighbours.

Churchyard Gardening

As the weather is now wet and cold, the churchyard gardening will not take place until the end of February, when we hope the weather will be better.

Archdeaconry Service 6th September

May I remind you that the Archdeaconry Service is being held at 7.30pm on Thursday 6th September in St. John the Baptist and All Saints Church Easingwold. Please do try to attend if you can.

Saturday 15th September Coffee Morning 10.00am - 11.30am raffle prizes and cakes will be gratefully received, please bring them on the day.

And finally Our Branch 75th Birthday Celebration Service, led by Rev Pete Watson will be held in St Wilfrid's Church at 2.00pm on Thursday 11th October. Tea will be served afterwards in the Parish Hall. Vice President Dot Townley from the York Archdeaconry MU, will be coming, and other branches from the Deanery have been invited.

Book Club Thursday 30th August 7.30pm St Wilfrid's Parish Hall

The Book Club will be meeting on 30th August to discuss "The Vanishing Act of Esme Lennox" by Maggie O'Farrell. The September meeting will take place on 27th September and the book chosen is "This Rough Magic" by Mary Stewart. The book club always meets in St Wilfrid's Church Hall at 7.30pm on the last Thursday of each month. New members are always welcome.
