What? – Sale of original hand-made ceramics.
When? – Saturday 18th May, 11am-5pm
Where? – St Wilfrid’s Church Hall, Brayton (Behind the
church).
In aid of St Wilfrid’s Church tower restoration fund, Selby
artist Martin Pearson and Tracey Copestake have produced a range of unique
ceramic pieces for sale. Many of the
pieces were produced by pressing clay into surfaces around the church, so, in a
way you could own a little piece of this historic building!
A range of other ceramic forms by Martin will
also be on sale. The ceramics have also
been hand-decorated in a range of colours and textures. The pieces come in a variety of sizes, and
with a guide price, so you can donate the amount you feel appropriate. This is a great opportunity to own an
original piece of art work at an affordable price, and to help restore the
church tower.
Refreshments will also be available throughout the day. See you there!
